📘 B.Ed. Curriculum Overview

The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program at MM B.Ed College is a two-year, four-semester course designed to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical teaching experience.

The program consists of four semesters:

📚 The first three semesters – 24 credits each
📝 The fourth semester – 24 credits, including a teaching practice program
🗣️ Medium of instruction: English or Kannada
✍️ Theory exams can be taken in either English or Kannada

The teaching practice program is structured into three phases:

📅 Pre-Internship: 4 weeks (Second semester) – 4 credits
🏫 Internship: 10 weeks (Third semester) – 12 credits
📖 Post-Internship: 6 weeks (Fourth semester) – 8 credits

Admission Requirements:

📝 Evaluation Process

The B.Ed program follows the Bangalore University evaluation guidelines, combining internal assessments and university examinations.

Internal assessment includes assignments, lesson plan submissions, teaching practice evaluations, and presentations. Regular classroom participation and engagement in seminars also contribute to the overall assessment.

University-end semester exams are conducted as per Bangalore University regulations, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of theoretical and practical aspects of teacher education.
